A Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) official on Thursday said the personal data of some 28 million passport holders are at risk of being compromised due to the absence of a cybersecurity system.
"We are really concerned with the security of our more than 28 million passport holders' data," DFA Office of Consular Affairs Assistant Secretary Adelio Cruz said during a Senate finance subcommittee hearing on the DFA's proposed P27.4-billion budget for 2025.
