PLDT x Cignal (PLDT FIBER UNLI ALL 1399)
Hello Ka-Phcorner! I just want to survey the subscribers of PLDT FIBER UNLI ALL plans, is there any other set-top-box/STB that PLDT installs other than the Skyworth HS8871? Cause we currently experiencing distorted/pixelated picture on some of it channels, specifically HD channels such as HBO HD, Tap Movies HD, PBA Rush, UAAP Varsity Channel etc.
We already reported our concern to PLDT via 171 and there is a scheduled technician visit by tomorrow. Props to PLDT that even though we’re affected by Typhoon Enteng, they are still escalating our problem to solve it as soon as possible.

Edit: I saw one different STB that was posted in a Cignal Instalation FB Group. It was a Samsung branded STB. I think they are like the same built and same Cignal UI so I am wondering if it is the new STB from PLDT since the person posted said that they are currently subcribed to a PLDT x Cignal plan.

During the day it works perfectly fine but when the sun sets, the problem still persists. Actually we’ve experienced it last March this year, may problem lang daw po sa back end ni Cignal and naayos naman po. Pero ngayon po kahit inayos na po nila sa back end di pa rin po nafifix. Consistent na pag sa gabi pixelated ang mga channels. Siguro it’s time to change the box na rin po. To give you idea exactly one year pa lang po yung set top box sa amin. Pero yung box po is I think 11 years old na mga 2013 pa and yung last update is 2016.
