The iPad 2 is a 10+ year old device. That is "ANCIENT" by today's standards.

You can still use it as a media player (VLC) to watch movies on it.

Use it as an ebook reader.

Like you mentioned, not too many apps are usable on it. But some older not-so-demanding simple games can still run on it.

Basically, it's now relegated to being just a mediocre OFFLINE media consumption device.
