TS, check mo muna yung lcd screen mo kung okay pa, mayroong LCD Built-in Self Test mode ang mga Dell laptops:
I-power on mo habang naka-press ka sa D key hanggang sa mag-start na magpalit-palit ng kulay ang screen, kung may abnormalities tulad ng nakikita mong black horizontal stripes, ipa-check mo na sa computer tech.

Ubusin mo muna ang mga options mo bago ka magdecide ng reformatting. Kung hindi pa siya na-reformat, mayroon siyang hidden recovery partition na pwedeng mag-restore sa original state niya nung bagong bili pa siya. Download mo yung manual niya sa support site ni Dell gamit yung Service Tag nung laptop mo, check mo doon kung paano mag-restore ng original niyang OS.
