Disclaimer: This is not an advise. I will not be liable in case that your security setup will be infiltrated by bad actors.
Disclaimer: You must have a Windows 10/11 install with Windows Security, Windows Defender, Microsoft Edge and, Windows Firewall that are always up to date for my first agenda.
Note: Super long nito. But I just share this para makatulong upang maging secure ang mga systems nyo kahit papaano.

Agenda 1 - Surviving without any 3rd party security software in Windows

Una, make sure na up to date lang muna yung OS mo ha, I mean literal na yung pinaka latest na version like 22H2 for Windows 10 and 23H2 (currently) for Windows 11 hindi yung wala lang lumalabas na updates. Check mo muna via "winver" command sa Command Prompt.

Next, go to Windows Security and enable the Ransomware protection or also known as Controlled-Folder access para iwas accidenteng ransom para lang ma unencrypt ang files mo. Enable every security feature in the settings of Windows Security.

I suggest, Reset mo muna yung Firewall rules mo (if not newly installed yung OS) You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now. para sure na safe ka.

You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.

Honestly, No! kasi paano pag Google Chrome ang gamit mo and other browsers. Kasi walang SmartScreen sa mga yan.

Agenda 2 - UBlock Origin for Malware blocking

By the way, si UBlock Origin ay adblocker din pala.

No for most users, hard to setup plus iba talaga pag 3rd party security software ang gamit mo, mas mapapanatag ang loob mo.
Pero you can always use UBlock Origin as a secondary opinion.

Agenda 3 - How to pick a security software?
I do not want to recommend a 3rd party security software dahil ito ay kailangan na kayo ang pumili ng gagamitin nyo. Do your own research. Check its record on AVtest and AV Comparatives, huwag sa mga blog at vlog lang kasi real-world testing yung ginagawa ng dalawang testing labs na iyan.

Agenda 4 - Security Softwares, walang silbi pag ikaw ang may ginawang mali
Pero syempre, the best security layer is YOU!

Pag inignore at dinisable mo yung security software mo edi wala ring silbi yung security software.

Agenda 5 - Pirated Softwares with malware
Honestly, one of the most common source of malwares are actually pirated and modified softwares (MODs).
Probably upload the executable installer sa Virustotal (You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.) before running that pirated software installer can probably save you a lot of headaches.
Product keys with no executable programs and no modification of installation files are much safer method of pirating.

Agenda 6 - Give Open-Source Softwares a try
Here are commonly pirated softwares na may free and open-source alternatives:
•Adobe Photoshop > GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP)
•Microsoft Office and WPS Office> Libre Office, Apache Open Office
•Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw > Inkscape
•Adobe Premier > Shotcut, Kdenlive (Easier to use: OpenShot)
•Sublime Text > VSCodium, Notepad++
•Adobe Audition > Audacity
•AutoCAD, SketchUp > FreeCAD
•Adobe Acrobat > Sumatra PDF
•Adobe After Effects > Blender
Dagdag nyo rin yung alternative ni Windows na mga Linux distributions (pero maninibago kayo sa mga softwares and UI, they are not the same, many Windows softwares will not work in Linux).

Pasensya na po at sobrang haba nito. I want to just share some tips para makatulong sa inyo na maging secure.

Will fix it po.

You're right po!

Thanks for your comment po.
