Tamba's Interview

Biro nyo, loser daw ang Tsina kung gigyerahin nito ang Pilipinas dahil kailangan nila tayo sa paglago ng kanilang ekonomiya.

Say what ?

1. In 2023 China GDP is $17.7 Trillion while Philippine GDP is only $436 billion. Which means our economy is only 2.46% that of China. In other words, China’s economy is 40X the size of the Philippine economy.

2. China’s economy is a balanced economy with an industrial capacity and manufacturing base that is the biggest in the world hence, China’s monicker as the “world’s factory”. The Chinese economy is also the most vertically integrated economy in the world which means they can make almost everything that they need.

In contrast, the Philippines is a net importing economy for more than two decades now meaning we cannot produce what we need in almost every thing.

Almost 80% of Philippine GDP is consumption and very little
production especially in agriculture and food.

China is also more energy secure than the Philippines.

3. China is the top trading partner of 123 countries including the Philippines. So any time, China stops trading with us there’s 122 other countries more than enough to fill our microscopic contribution to China’s GDP.

4. Martin seems oblivious to the fact that the Philippines is now the pariah of the ASEAN and not China. What he claims the whole world that is with us is the Collective West and not the Global South and the BRICS economies now at almost 50 countries.

Now tell me, what the f*ck is this guy ******* ya’think?
