The Philippines is now on Vladimir Putin’s nuclear strike radar when the Americans prepositioned Typhon Weapon Systems in the Philippines months ago.
These offensive strike missile systems are capable of launching intermediate and short range conventional warhead missiles SM9 and the nuclear tipped Tomahawk missiles.
The Typhon Weapon System is also future proofed for the in-development American and NATO hypersonic missiles to counter the leading edge hypersonic missiles of China and Russia.
Mr. Putin in his visit to North Korea last week signed a new defense agreement with the Hermit Kingdom to counter the growing presence of NATO in the Indo-Pacific.
After his NoKor visit, Mr. Putin went to Vietnam to forge a renewed relationship with one of Russia’s closest allies in Southeast Asia much to the disappointment of the US.
While China and Vietnam have only recently repaired their bilateral relations, a China - Russia - Vietnam triumvirate in Southeast Asia plus a Russia - Nokor alliance in Northeast Asia is slowly being molded by the increasing threat of NATO expansion in the Indo - Pacific region where a new arms race similar to the Cold War era is taking shape.
At the very heart of this dangerous arms race is the Philippines when on a 01 July press conference, Vladimir Putin categorically said Russia will craft a proportional response to the US deployment of intermediate and short range tactical nuclear weapons systems in Denmark and in the Philippines.
Mr. Putin’s statement in this video must not be taken lightly by Filipinos. I have said this many times before, the Russians don’t bluff and certainly not Vladimir Putin, the Ukrainians learned it in the hardest and most painful way.
So I go back to Scott Ritter. Pinoys, GROW THE F*** UP !!!
