the initial interviewer will be my partner as he was impress by my grades.

but I have no idea on how to be an HR Recruiter.
What's their work?
how do they work?
What do they use?

I have no problems talking 1 on 1 interviewing potential Employee.

but aside from interview. I have no idea what are their other roles or how to use it.

if someone could give me an idea. it would help me moving forward and maybe I could pass the final interview next week.
Thank you.

Hello! Congratulations on reaching the final interview stage for the HR position! As a fresh graduate with a degree in Psychology, you have a strong foundation for a career in HR, especially in roles like HR Recruiter.

As an HR Recruiter, your main responsibility will be to find, attract, and hire top talent for the organization. Here are some key aspects of the role and how HR Recruiters typically work:

1. Job Posting and Sourcing: HR Recruiters create job postings based on the requirements provided by the hiring manager. They also actively source candidates through various channels like job boards, social media, career fairs, and employee referrals.

2. Screening and Interviewing: Once applications start coming in, HR Recruiters review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews with potential candidates. They are also responsible for coordinating interview schedules with hiring managers and guiding candidates through the recruitment process.

3. Assessment and Selection: HR Recruiters often administer assessments or tests to evaluate candidates' skills and fit for the role. They also assist in the final selection process by presenting top candidates to the hiring manager for consideration.

4. Offer Negotiation and Onboarding: After a candidate is selected, HR Recruiters work on negotiating job offers, discussing compensation and benefits, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process for the new hire.

In terms of tools and technology, HR Recruiters commonly use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate applications and track the recruitment process. They may also utilize tools for conducting video interviews, scheduling, and candidate relationship management.

To prepare for your final interview, I recommend researching more about the recruitment process, familiarizing yourself with common HR terms, and showcasing your strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with candidates. You can also highlight your understanding of human behavior and psychology, which can be valuable in assessing candidates' fit for the organization.

Good luck with your final interview, and I hope these insights help you feel more confident about the HR Recruiter role! Let me know if you have any more questions.

It still depends on what your supervisor assigned you, especially you are working as a team. When I worked as a recruiter, my supervisor assigned me to encoding because that's my strength, but sometimes I also did interviews with applicants. I'm very grateful for my past employer; despite being an education graduate, they still hired me and taught me how HR works.
