Arian Jane Ramos , formerly known under the alias "Marikit", a law student and a productive member of society. She once served as a full member for 7 years achieving the rank of secretary of the NPA's guerilla front 55 based in Davao City.
All throughout her life she is guided by her need and intentions to serve the community. She joined the CPP-NPA because she saw the socio-economic injustice and imbalance on the livelihood of the people. Seeing the increased involvement of the government on the very same battle, she had a renewal of ideology and returned back to the fold on August 1 2021, where she surrendered to the government. Taking time from her busy law school life, she is an active partner in community building together with the AFP, various IP communities and women's group in providing assistance and campaigning against CPP-NPA recruitment and exploitation where her efforts are recognized by the military and even the Vice President herself.
Drawing from her experience and empowered by the cry "Serve the People!" Arian's story serves as an encouragement for the youth to be involved with Nation-building within the government platform.
Today, Arian fully enjoys her freedom as ALL 34 cases filed against her have been provisionally dismissed. We hope her story will be able to inspire more people especially those who seek for truth, freedom and a better Philippines. Mabuhay ka, Arian!
