[9] I tell you, then, that any man who divorces his wife for any cause other than her unfaithfulness, commits adultery if he marries some other woman.”

Sa kabuan permanenteng buklod ang pag-aasawa at ayaw ng Diyos na masira ito at Galit Siya sa paghihiwalay ng WALANG MATIBAY na Saligan.
Ngunit kapag sangkot na Ang pisikal o pisikal na pagabuso at pakikiapid.

Tayo 80 percent is Roman Catholic but tawag rin kasi ay Christian society dahil Christian ang Roman Catholic. Sa atin ang hindi allowed ang divorce. Nakakatawa nga. Sa representatives mismo in the senate, nagkadebatehan na kung allowed ang divorce or hindi pagkatapos gumagamit na ng bible as a source. Ang weird. Dapat hindi na isinasama sa senate ang religious debate. Si Marcoletta ba iyon? Iyon ang naalala ko. Separate ang church at state dapat. Tataka ako pati religious debate na isama na sa senate. Frankly, yung mga law na ang basis ay religion both mosaic and christ law, dapat talaga nag-aapply lang sa mga member ng naturang religion at mga willing sumunod sa laws nila. Philippines was never theocratic to begin with.

But it is brilliant how christianity developed mechanisms that enables theocratic control outside theocratic states.
