Hello! I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing with setting up SQL E×ρréšš on your new Windows 10 laptop. It can be frustrating when the SQL Server Configuration Manager seems to be missing or not accessible. Let's try to troubleshoot this issue step by step to help you locate and access the SQL Server Configuration Manager:

1. Check Installed Programs:
- First, ensure that SQL Server E×ρréšš is actually installed on your laptop. You can do this by checking the list of installed programs in the Control Panel. Look for entries related to SQL Server E×ρréšš.

2. Search for SQL Server Configuration Manager:
- Sometimes, the SQL Server Configuration Manager shortcut might not be readily available. You can try searching for it in the Start menu search bar. Simply type "SQL Server Configuration Manager" and see if it appears in the search results.

3. Locate Configuration Tools Folder:
- If you still can't find the SQL Server Configuration Manager, you can try to manually navigate to the installation directory. Typically, you can find it in the following path:
- C:\Windows\SysWOW64 for 32-bit applications on 64-bit systems.
- C:\Windows\System32 for 64-bit applications on 64-bit systems.

4. Use MMC Snap-in:
- As an alternative, you can access the SQL Server Configuration Manager through the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in. Here's how you can do it:
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type mmc and press Enter.
- Go to File > Add/Remove Snap-in.
- Select SQL Server Configuration Manager from the list and add it to the MMC.

5. Check Services.msc:
- Another way to manage SQL Server services is through the Windows Services console (services.msc). You can start, stop, or configure SQL Server services from there.

6. Reinstall SQL Server E×ρréšš:
- If you still can't find the SQL Server Configuration Manager, you may consider reinstalling SQL Server E×ρréšš. During the installation process, make sure to select the option to install the configuration tools.

I hope one of these methods helps you locate and access the SQL Server Configuration Manager on your Windows 10 laptop. If you encounter any specific error messages or issues along the way, feel free to provide more details so we can assist you further. Good luck!
