"IMBESTIGADOR is a Public Service program, aired on GMA Channel 7. In this episode IMBESTIGADOR features the illicit drug trade which continues to spread its menace. A dimly lit corner in Blumentrit, Manila became a haven for drug pushers selling shabu on the street. Imbestigador's surveillance activities and video led drug enforcement authorities to the place. This resulted [in] the arrest of five suspects and the confiscation of nearly 5 grams of shabu (crack). A twelve-year-old girl had been missing for a month. Her mother feared that Reynalin may have been traded by her aunt's husband for 50,000 pesos worth of shabu. Flush-out operations by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation yielded negative results. Imbestigador eventually found her in a suburban town north of Manila. She has been reunited with her family in the Northern Philippines.
"In this episode, IMBESTIGADOR also features a man who was häçked to death after he was accused of having an amorous affair with his master's wife. The manhunt for the suspect brought us to a trail that went as far as the province of Bicol, a place that is considered a hotbed of communist insurgents. Our segment also features hundreds of home buyers who had fallen prey to the scheme of a real estate company that sells land at an unbelievably low price. After selling out their hard-earned savings, the victims realized that the lands were not really owned by the company.
