Q: A water cooler uses 50kg/hr of melting ice to cool running water from 28°C to 8°C. Based on the outside coil area, Uo = 630 W/m²-K. If Cp of water is 4.186 kj/kg-K and heat of fusion of ice is 334 kj/kg, find a) LMTD b)Area of outside coil.

Tanong ko lang po if yung sa LMTD, constant na 0°C yung sa temperature ng ice or gagamitin po is mCp(∆T) = Q? Need pa po ba siyang iconvert sa Kelvin?

No need bro. Kasi Change in temperature naman. Kahit mag add ka ng 273 sa magkabilang temperature. Same pa din magiging difference nila.
