Since its inception in 2008, Enemies of Saturn has been carving out its spot in the local independent music scene. Miko Sta. Romana (vocals), Louis Isok (guitars), Brian Mendoza (bass) and Fred Sison (drums) have built a solid reputation for delivering astonishingly tight performances, leaving attendees wanting more of EOS’ brand of sexually charged, Hard Rock.
Their first single, “Bigayan”, was a hit on legendary rock station NU 107. Soon after, underground hit “Mushroom Stamp” was released on Kerplunk! Studios Defiant sampler. Online music channel Splintr.com also took notice and made Enemies of Saturn their Artist of the Month; documenting the band’s sheer talent in 4 live performance videos. The second single, “Unlearn”, was released in July of 2010. This went on to chart on rock FM stations NU 107 and UR 105.9, while enjoying regular airplay as well on Jam 88.3.
