Complement: Certain number of pilots are asked which they prefer more, traveling to asian countries or to european countries, 27 pilots prefer travelling to asian countries ,22 prefer traveling to europe while 13 pilots do not like traveling to asian countries

To find the complement of a set, we need to find the elements that are not in that set. In this case, we want to find the number of pilots who do not like traveling to Asian countries.

Given that 27 pilots prefer traveling to Asian countries and 13 pilots do not like traveling to Asian countries, we can calculate the complement by subtracting the number of pilots who do not like traveling to Asian countries from the total number of pilots.

Total number of pilots = 27 (prefer Asian countries) + 22 (prefer Europe) + 13 (do not like Asian countries) = 62

Complement of pilots who do not like traveling to Asian countries = Total number of pilots - Number of pilots who do not like Asian countries
= 62 - 13
= 49

Therefore, there are 49 pilots who prefer traveling to Asian countries or Europe.
