In conducting this research, our team identified a problem that has become increasingly prevalent in local restaurants: the impact of wait time and order accuracy on customer satisfaction. With the rise of contactless payment systems, such as mobile payment apps and card tap-to-pay options, there has been a significant shift in how customers make payments at restaurants. While these systems offer convenience and efficiency, it is crucial to understand their possible effects on wait times and order accuracy. We noticed that there is a lack of comprehensive studies exploring the relationship between contactless payment systems and these two crucial aspects of restaurant operations. Therefore, we conducted this research to address this gap in knowledge and provide valuable insights for both restaurant owners and customers.
