The sky is so blue, its beauty too grand
The sun is so bright, it's hard to stand
The grass is so green, it's like a wonderland
But why can I not, join in with the band?
My heart lost its joy, and sadness began
My smile turned to frown, and life seemed so bland
My tears spilled like rain, yet no one held my hand
It's like I'm the ghost, no one in this land.
My worn soul cries out, but no one hears its plea
I'm so desperate for kindness, but find only misery
My dreams of happiness, shattered so easily
It's my wish, that I could ever be truly free.
