If there’s one thing Kaia hates, it’s taking risks. As a career-driven lawyer set on her ten-year plan, adventure, and spontaneity don’t have much of a place in her life. So when her three best friends talk her into an epic girl’s trip to Paris, Kaia’s stuck between letting loose and worrying she’s walking into a disaster waiting to happen.
Jack and his best mates are visiting the City of Love all the way from Australia, and they bump into Kaia and her friends one fateful night in an Irish Pub next to the Moulin Rouge. A spark ignites between Kaia and Jack, but falling for a guy from the opposite side of the world is literally the last thing Kaia planned for on this trip.
Paris has other plans, of course.
Kaia plans to keep their relationship strictly platonic, but even in a room full of people, they find their way to one another. Is there a glimmer of hope that this might be more than a vacation crush? Or will Kaia play it safe and let the chance for love pass her by? Kaia must decide if the budding romance between her and Jack is worth pursuing, even if it means risking her heart, and her comfortable ten-year plan.
