Everything you’re experiencing right now actually happened 80 milliseconds ago.

A study conducted by Dr. David Eagleman at the Baylor College of Medicine found that our consciousness lags 80 milliseconds behind actual events.

still something to do with the speed of light, best example are the farthest things in the universe as seen using telescope, the light emitted by those things need to travel for many years to reach our eyes and we finally become aware (conscious) of their existence, imagine the delay, those things may no longer exist at the moment but yung light nila kakarating lang sa ating mga mata and we see them as to what they looked like in the past
