globe just recently installed me with modem936/10mbps plan bundle

speed test is:

49ping
.45 DL
.70 UL

im paying the right price and not getting decent connection.

im wondering if i buy a GlobeSim 10mbps (not legit and no capping)
will it work without changing any setting from the modem?

any answer will be much appreciated!!!!
