🔒 Closed Sen. Robin Padilla apologizes for his unhonorable' action during a hearing

“Tayo po ay humihingi ng dispensa sa mga taong nasaktan doon sa pagiging ‘Suklayin mo baby,’” he said during an interview with the Senate reporters on May 25.​

The Senator explained that combing his facial hair is part of his regular grooming routine. He admitted that his mustache tends to become itchy when he wears a face mask.​

“Sa mga nagbibigote, sasang-ayon sa akin yung mga nagbibigote na hindi ibig sabihin na kapat nagsusuklay ka, ikaw ay naiinip. Hindi po. ‘Yan po ay una, tinatanggal mo ‘yung kati. Makati eh.​

​

“Bakit po makati? Kasi mahirap po sa lahat ‘yang naka-mask ka at may bigote ka kasi po sa loob, nagtutusok-tusok yan,” Padilla explained.​

agreed makati talaga iyan pero sana next time i-manage na niya in a discreet manner kasi hindi naman siya nasa US or UK na matataas pinag-aralan yung mga tao, dito sa pinas low level education tayo dito kaya good morals and right conduct talaga ang meron strict compliance (religious grip) instead of what is expected from an office
