Reflect on the true meaning of this event. Jesus Christ came and died to save us from our sins, but that could've been gone and forgotten if not for him coming back from the dead, thereby proving that He was who He said he was.
As a matter of fact, look at how the disciples acted before and after this resurrection. They were scared and scattered when Jesus died, but all faced horrible deaths because they would not deny him after they saw him rise from the dead!
