Solution
Deactivate your account through your Facebook Settings:
  1. Tap. in the top right of Facebook.
  2. Scroll down and tap Settings.
  3. Tap Personal and account information.
  4. Tap Account ownership and control.
  5. Tap Deactivation and deletion.
  6. Tap Deactivate Account, then tap Continue and follow the instructions to confirm.

Solution
To deactivate your Facebook account, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Facebook account.
2. Click the down arrow in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Select "Settings & Privacy" and then click "Settings."
4. Scroll down and click "Your Facebook Information."
5. Click "Deactivation and Deletion."
6. Choose "Deactivate Account" and then click "Continue to Account Deactivation."
7. Enter your password, and then click "Continue."
8. Select a reason for deactivating your account, and then click "Continue."
9. Click "Deactivate" to confirm.

Once you have deactivated your account, your profile and all of your posts, comments, and messages will be hidden from other users. However, Facebook will save all of your data in case you decide to reactivate your account in the future.
