Those who survived it were left scarred in more ways than just their body. And yet we don’t vaccinate for it. Why?

Because the vaccine worked so good that it only lives in labs now.

Cervical cancer has left so many women unable to conceive, with debilitating conditions and dead.

And yet we now have gardasil, which by vaccinating against HPV can decrease someone’s risk of cervical cancer by OVER 80%. It’s a vaccine AGAINST CANCER.

Tetanus is another one! It used to be a deadly disease which killed you in a very painful way, with every single muscle in your body clenching uncontrollably. Any cut or scrape was a potential deadly infection. It also killed 10.000 newborns a year in the US.

I could keep on going. But the reality is that people who have fallen for anti vaccination propaganda (or worse, who actively spread it) are unchallengeable in their beliefs and another case or 20 or a million won’t make a difference.

There's a difference between a vaccine that took many years of R&D and ensuring safety before rolling them out for public consumption to a vaccine that is rushed because the situation/status quo demanded it.
