Chapter 1079: "The Yonkou Red Hair Pirates"
Reader request: Luffy gives water to a lion because he confused it with a sunflower.
Chapter starts with a York flashback, taking place a couple of hours from current events. York realises the World Government has betrayed her and wants to kill her too, but she's prepared.
York: "In that case, I got a plan of my own ready!!"
York ordered the Seraphim to kill everyone but her, Stella, and the Cipher Pol agents that were imprisoned in the underground lab. Afterwards, York commanded S-Snake to turn her to stone first and later turn her back to normal. It seems York issued another order to S-Snake, but we don't find out about it in this chapter.
Flashback ends and we're back to the present, we see S-Snake flying towards an unknown location. Egghead's evacuation continues.
However, outside of the island, we can se one of the ships belonging to the Blackbeard Pirates approaching Egghead...
We switch to Elbaf. Kid is facing the captains of the Red Hair Pirates' fleet.
It's known by everyone that the Red Hair Pirates' fleet are weaker than the captains of other Emperor fleets. The captains of the Red Hair Pirates' fleet have been able to survive thanks to the fact Shanks has protected everyone under his flag, that's why he's so admired.
The Red Hair Pirates are near the shore, talking as they aproach the battle.
Lucky Roux: "Captain, stay here!! We'll handle this!!"
Shanks: "Kid has a 3 billion Berries bounty, don't understimate the growth of the youth."
Shanks asks Hongo if there's any new information regarding Blackbeard. Hongo says the only thing they know is Blackbeard sailed from Full-a-lead but nothing else.
Shanks: "I thought Blackbeard might have pulled up at Wano Country, but he didn't..."
Before the fight begins, Shanks asks Yasopp to check if the injuries the Kid Pirates had sustained during the battle of Wano Country were fully healed.
Yasopp: "They look completely healed, Captain!!"
Kid builds a giant railgun as Shanks arrives to the shore. Then, Kid fires the railgun.
Kid: "Take this!! Damned Punk!!"
Kid destroys the entire Red Haired Pirates' fleet and defeats all its captains with his attack... Although this didn't happen. Kid's attack is a vision of the future Shanks had thanks to his advanced Observation Haki.
Beckman talks with Shanks.
Beckman: "It seems you've seen something in the future, haven't you?"
Shanks is angered and gets srious, for he knows how much damage can Kid deal if he's allowed to attack freely. Shanks jumps towards the Kid Pirates' ship and, in an EPIC doublepage spread, he attacks them with a huge sword thrust using the technique known as "Kamusari" (Divine Departure)... The same attack Gol D. Roger used against Kozuki Oden in the past!!
Kid is knocked out after getting hit and Killer, who had tried to help Kid and withstand Shanks' attack, coughs up a lot of blood and is unable to move. Kid and Killer have been defeated simultaneously in one hit.
The Kid Pirates beg Shanks to show mercy and hand over all their Road Poneglyph rubbings. Shanks doesn't say anything back and jumps out of the Kid Pirates' ship.
At the coast, Dorry and Broggy have something to say.
Dorry and Broggy: "Hey, little humans!!
If you aim your weapons at others' motherland, you've better be prepared to face the same fate!!
HAKOKU!!"
Dorry and Broggy use the same attack as in Little Garden and destroy the Victoria Punk completely. Kid and his crew sink completely in the sea...
Narator: "Eustass 'Captain' Kid with a bounty of 3 Billion Berries and all his crew have been completely annihilated!!"
