Kelangan ko po ng clarification, or kung maari in-depth explanation. Pinag aawayan kasi namin to 😂

During a 2-day fundraiser, a local school sold 1440 raffle tickets. If they sold 350% more raffle tickets on the second day than the first day, how many raffle tickets did they sell on the first day?

Let:
X = no. of tickets sold on the first day
350% of X = no. of tickets sold on the second day (or 3.5x)

Equation: X + 3.5X = 1440
Solve for X:
4.5X = 1440
X = 1440/4.5
X = 320 (tickets sold on the first day)

Edit:
The answer seems to be 261.82, but that doesn't make sense to me because tickets should be sold in whole.

Kaya nga po sir. ang argument kasi kung ganyan ang solution, is: "paano kung 100% more ang 2nd day?" edi ang equation based sa solution ninyo is

x + 1*x = 1440

pero diba dapat doubled ang number ng 2nd day, so dapat:

x + 2*x = 1440

pero kung 2*x ang value sa "100% more", same lang sila ng equation kapag ang tanong is "200% more"? nakakalito 😂🤣
