Bago ko simulan magbigay ng update nagpapasalamat muna ako sa ating mga admin for approving this post. Nagpapasalamat din ako to all my supporters on this campaign on sharing a cloud storage extension via google shared drive.

A bit background bkit ko to gnagawa. First, I also started using free cloud storage, dropbox, google drive, one drive, mega, etc dahil hobby ko to collect files before tulad ng mga software, modded games and apps sa android phone, modded apps sa windows OS, anime, movies, etc. Until dumating yung time na I always maximize un capacity ng cloud storage ko dahl free lang xa. As solution new account but in the end hndi helpful dahl s sobrang dmi ng account ko hndi ko naoorganize ng maayos un mga files ko.

Next thing I did is magsubscribe ky google one. Naging buddy ko c google one for almost 2years but still hndi enough un offer niang storage sakin. And that’s the time I started to create a business account ky G-Suite which is known as Google Workspace ngayon.

Since 2020 I started this campaign to share cloud storage extension via shared drive sa mga nangangailangan. I started to offer my service in forums, friends, co-workers, etc. I offer free shared drive for personal use only until maubos un allotted slot para doon and in the other hand I also offer files sharing access by only just supporting my campaign for only 100php per month or 2usd per month.

Take note the 100php or 2usd is optional para sa mga taong gusto magkaroon ng files sharing access sa shared drive nila at hindi po ito solicitation dahil it’s their own decision and what I offer for each user is to experience having less worries, secured file storage and unlimited storage to properly store and organize their files connected with their gmail account. If ikaw yung tipo ng tao na tingin mo dito ay mali I suggest ignore my offer and find something or someone else can help you about your demand.

Google announces that “content manager” in shared drive will have the ability to share folders and files by default.
As an admin malaking tulong ito sa amin especially on my service dahl what I only offer in my previous campaign was PERSONAL USE shared drive and FILE SHARING shared drive access only. Before na wala pa ang ganitong ability ni content manager role, as an admin I am forced to give a manager role to all my clients that needs the “FILE SHARING” access for them only to share their files to their desired member of that file or folders.

Question is, ano ang magbabago?
Content Manager Role - Para sa mga dating content manager there will be no impact as is padin ang inyong access for personal use only.
Previous Manager Role - Para naman sa mga manager role before, your role had been updated as “Shared Content Manager (Content Manager padin sa shared drive)”. You can still share your desired files, but you cannot add user in the shared drive and rename the shared drive. If you want to add user or remane the shared drive, you can ask admin for assistance.

Bakit po napalitan ang role?
First, the service that I offer is to allow the user to share files not to modify the shared drive.
Second, dumating sa point na someone abuse the ability of being “Manager Role” to the point na just to avoid supporting the admin for only 100php per month the user changes the shared drive name and email address which is the only reference of the admin for them to remind their monthly support.
Third, mabait po ako kausap, hindi din naman po ako namimilit if ayaw niyo po ng service ko and you always have the free will to chose to look for alternative options.
