Today a son looked at his dad and asked, "Daddy, why are they banning the Bible when it makes you and Mommy so happy?" The father had nothing to say and just cried.

We have no intention of banning any book. Including the ones we think are horrible like the bible. As you are so shallow and childish, go ahead and have your little cry because we don't believe in your fairy tales. If you mean banning the bible from science classes, then yes. The bible doesn't belong there because science deals with facts, not fantasy

Important context is missing in this question: who are “they”, and why are “they” banning the Bible? And Daddy should have asked those questions too.

Are schools meant to be for learning? Or are they meant to mold people a certain way?

The act of banning any book, it points toward molding and not learning. A school should be an institution with free market of ideas. Banning anything is like removing brand x from a store so everyone has no choice but buy brand z.

it's not my idea, i just quoted an atheist for that, my opinion would be bible should not be banned so people know it's shi̾t, and schools are for learning facts and not truths, truths should be taught in the churches only, regarding molding process everyone is being molded until people reaches the point of self-assessment and take over once again the control of his own life
