I agree. Most theist and atheist, nakakulong sa ganyang pag iisip.

Most specially mga anti-theists, dahil ang background nila ay dogma version of religion kaya nmn din nila tinalikuran.
Isnt that the whole point of theism and atheism.. god belief??

What exactly is he pointing at sa mga sinasabi nea?? Spirituality?? Which according to him eh may certain exclusivity pa and anecdotal at best??

That would mean you frame your questions based on theist false beliefs kaya hindi din kayo makakuha ng sagot.
Fixed na sa isip ng fundamentalists ang view na God is a sky daddy. Kahit yan maging athiest pa sila after.
Kahit akong atheist nahirapan mag explain dahil sa framing ng mga tanong nyo mga kapwa atheist, pano pa kaya ung tulad ni foxicle n parang spiritualist nmn?
What about my question asking him for his reason was framed incorrectly?? I cannot be more direct sa tanong ko imo.

This thinking is anchored on ritualistic religion. If you go beyond from that dimension, you will see there are stages, so there are more. Yet, ritualistic religion is necessary.

But there are things that you must do, you must personally take the first step.

You cannot go beyond by only reading and speculating using your "logical mind".

Aren’t you the one who made ur own conclusions on what u think atheist should be exposed to?
I am only sharing what I experience that transformed me in a way. I am not here to judge.

I have a family.
Family, meaning?? Are u saying something else beyond what the word actually meant?

How did it transformed u nga?? Un ang gusto malaman thats why i asked about ur inactivity towards it kamo.. i think ur judging somewhat sa pinapalabas mo na flawed ung understanding ng iba…

No one is flawed or stupid.

Religion is about rituals, it's like a prescription.

Just follow the prescription and you will be okay.
-10 commandments in old testament
-Five Pillars of Islam, more than this
-Eightfold path in buddhism and etc.
-Taoism principles like Wu Wei (effortless action), Yin and Yang (balance and harmony), and etc.

Just follow that and your life will be good.

But beyond it, are for those who truly seek for the answers. However, the answers are not written in any parchments nor scrolls. These are the "oral" traditions handed down from masters to adepts.

I already shared some primers, seek as you wish.
So do you follow all those things?? Lets say the 10 commandments and 5 pillars of islam…

They thought they can approach the subtle and holy through their "minds", the holiest of men are still nothing but mud.

That is why I kept repeating, you cannot approach this through question and answer, even logic falls short.

This was explained in the bible by Jesus through the Parable of the Wedding Feast. Matthew 22:1-14.

You need to have "clothes". You cannot get it through reading, you need experience and practice.

Come back to this post if you understand it someday.

I already shared some primers for "research".

"For Einstein, the central problem of this cosmic religious feeling is the difficulty it poses at transmitting it to others. “The limit of my world is the limit of my language,” Wittgenstein would say. How does one communicate a feeling that does not result in a definitive concept of God or a theology? "

of all claims/proposals made by einstein, this one did not get accepted widely as compared to his other claims that became scientific theories and laws, buti nga hindi naging scientific theory ito haha or else GG talaga

who said it? bible? hehe
For "research purposes", the esoteric tradition has many examples.

Not widely eccepted does not mean useless. Hindi mo pa nga naiintindihan kung ano sinasabi may opinion ka na...

It just shows kung ano limits ng science in explaining things in the human experience.

hehe the usual esoteric scripts, the principle of the "chosen ones" na di raw lahat maka-understand a given data, ewan ko if related ba siya sa "many are called but few are chosen"

it's not opinion, it's a fact that this claim did not make it (failed) even if einstein has already built a very strong reputation through the continued success of his other claims

Because it is not scientific. There are some things in the humans experience that can not be measured or quantified. They can only be experienced. Trying to explain this thru paganistic rituals and belief system is really shallow, and is only a start. Trying to explain it by science is desperate.

That's true.
Example in the dimension of the common man:

  • You need to pass the NMAT before you can be admitted in a medical school
  • You need pass the bar exam before you can practice law
  • You need to get ordained as a priest

These are the "requirements" before the "mysteries of the trade" are revealed to a student.

These things cannot be done through reading alone, or philosophizing, arduous tasks are prepared for the student. Experience and practice is needed.

It is the same.

lol pinag equate pa yung religion sa academic, now we have an optional endeavor requiring something, an optional has requirements haha ok pa siguro yung required has options
