I have an openline B315s-936 and SMART Rocket SIM 699.

• Do I need to do anything to get it working on my 936?
• Do I need to purchase or register any additional plans, or can the SIM be used immediately?

You need to change the IMEI of that modem to phone IMEI if you use that promo (699).

Noted. That might be a bit challenging since my 936 has an old firmware - bought it back 2016 from a seller at Symb****ze.

Attempted to telnet to my unit but it seems the port is closed. I am guessing that I will need to upgrade the firmware. Unless there are other ways to change the IMEI without a firmware upgrade.
