After a series of photo leaks and teaser images, Toyota has officially revealed the 2023 Innova in Indonesia. With a lot of interest in the all-new model, the limited launch has confirmed a few more details about the country's best-selling MPV.

First and foremost, the all-new Innova is underpinned by the Toyota New Global Architecture-C (TNGA-C) platform, which affirms the new model's departure from the IMV platform for the first time, making it a bigger version of the Veloz. The TNGA-C platform is being utilized by the likes of the Toyota Corolla, Corolla Cross, and Lexus UX models.

With the switch from a ladder frame to unibody construction, the all-new Innova also gets a front-wheel-drive layout, which should open up more interior space inside for both passengers and cargo.

At the Indonesian launch, the all-new Innova was revealed to only have two engine options, and none of them are diesel. Instead, the MPV has Toyota's Dynamic Force engines, which consist of a 2.0-liter non-hybrid and a 2.0-liter hybrid powerplant paired with a CVT transmission.

Other noteworthy revelations are a 360-degree monitor for top-spec models, the Toyota Safety Sense driver assist system, a panoramic sunroof, and an upscale interior.

The 2023 Toyota Innova will be produced at the PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia factory in West Java. It's the first electrified vehicle made in Indonesia and will be exported to other countries that may include the Philippines.

For now, that's all the confirmed information we have about the all-new Innova. On November 25, the MPV will be launched in the Indian market. Hopefully, by that date, we'll be able to learn more details and specifications about Toyota's new MPV.
