yeah almost same reliability ng in motherboard nvme slot aslong as ok yung brand na binili mo anyway
(well maski mumurahin brand reliable din naman since slot lang naman sya)

as for read and write speed
depende sa revision ng pcie converter and multiplier ng slot na kakabitan nya

example
pcie 3.0 converter to pci 3.0 4x slot would give you a maximum read speed and write speed of 4gb so any nvme with 3.5gb write and read will run at full speed
