🔒 Closed I5 8400 or i7 7700

Hello po guys/masters/ mga magagaling sa computer, ask ko lang po kung ano sa tingin nyo ang mas okay na i build, kasi meron po akong processor na i5-8400 6 cores 6 threads and i7-7700 4 cores 8 threads, need ko kasi i let go yung isang processor para makabili ako ng mobo, yun nalang kasi ang kulang ko meron na ko ibang mga parts motherboard nalang ang kulang ko kaya po hingi lang ako ng konteng favor kung anong mas okay sa dalawa and yung compatible din sa gpu ko na gtx1050ti at psu na 500w thank you po

same tdp of 65w
i7 turbo is 4.2ghz vs i5 4ghz
almost identical sila
both is overpowered for gtx1050ti
and 500w psu is sobrang taas sa dalawa unless plan mo kag rtx XX60 in the future
so maski ano sa dalawa

pero if strickly gusto mo the best out of the 2
i5 8400 is the winner
mas mataas ng 1mb yung L3 cache ng i5
which mag tratranslate to about 3% more speed vs sa i7
and maximum RAM frequency support ng i5 is 2666 vs 2400 ng i7
almost negligible yung mga upside na yan pero upside parin

i5 8core para sa akin sulit. kunti lang diff kung sa perf pero ang price. kunti kunti lamangan niyan dalawa na yan sa points nyan.

pagpalagay na 4.2ghz x 8 core vs 4.2ghz x 6 core pero i7 yung isa baka mas malaki sa iba bagay. bsta haha para sa akin mas oka yung mas madami core.

i3 and r5 is equal since core power ng i3 10th is 1 is to 2
1 i3 10th gen core is = to 2 ryzen core of any ryzen 5 below 4650g
meaning for any ryzen below 4650g (not including X SKU since X since there not that circulated) either need nila maging 8 core para my substantial gain sila vs i3 10th
or need ng 6 core naka clock sa 4.4 to 4.6ghz and this is with an i3 na locked ram freq sa 2666 vs 3200
if yung i3 10th is in a b560 mobo wala ng lock yung ram freq so i3 will wreck ryzen 5 at that point
and if yung i3 is nasa z590 board wala na lock ng ram and my bclk OC na sya
at that point ryzen 7 na pwede nyang sasabayan nya

ito pinaka dahilan kung bakit for elite build and intels
onti lang upgrade pero yung upgrade is = sa ilang generation ng amd
downside masakit sa bulsa

this is only on raw speed if task completion (like editing) yung pag uusapan any intel below 11th will be abit slower kase mas efficient infinity fabric cache ng Ryzen kysa sa L3 cache ng intel up until 11th gen
(since 11th gen upwards has a newer cache system)
