Scout is only accompanied by a dog named Aesop. Who can easily sense any coming danger and can also fetch supplies. Scout has to make a river journey through the backwaters of isolated post societal America. The player needs to pay full attention to different needs of Scout like when she is hungry, thirsty and other needs which if not fulfilled can result in her death. Once Scout is dead there is no way to undone it. The game has got a crafting system which lets the player to create new items. Weather has a very important role in the gameplay and player needs to provide Scout with proper clothing in order to save her from severe weather. It is a travelling survival game where you will travel by foot or by raft down a river.
