steel bikes mabigat, pero hindi naman to the point na hihingal ka sa kaka pedal not unless if youre new to cycling. light weight bikes like aluminum alloys and carbon are made for performance and compitetions.

also most city bikes have lower gear ratios, this means that its softer to pedal compared to higher gear ratio bikes, lets say racing road bikes.
