MAS MAHALAGA ANG ATING PRESENSIYA SA PANGINOON KAYSA ATING PAGLILINGKOD
( Lucas 10:38-42)
Si Jesus at ang kanyang mga alagad ay nagpatuloy sa kanilang paglalakbay, at pumasok sa isang nayon. Malugod silang tinanggap sa tahanan nina Marta at ng kapatid niyang si Maria. Naupo ito sa may paanan ng Panginoon upang makinig sa kanyang itinuturo. Si Marta naman ay abalang-abala sa paghahanda, kaya't lumapit siya kay Jesus at dumaing, “Panginoon, bale-wala po ba sa inyo na pinababayaan ako ng kapatid kong maghanda nang nag-iisa? Sabihan nga po ninyo siyang tulungan naman ako.” Ngunit sinabi ng Panginoon sa kanya, “Marta, Marta, nababalisa ka at abalang-abala sa maraming bagay, ngunit iisa lamang ang talagang kailangan. Mas mabuti ang pinili ni Maria at ito'y hindi aalisin sa kanya.”
“Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her” (10:42 ). Si Jesus ang “good portion” niya. Naparito nga si Jesus para ilapit tayo sa Diyos sa pamamagitan niya. Hindi niya hahayaang malayo tayo sa kanya. Ang presensiya ng Panginoong Hesus ay mas higit na mahalaga kaysa ating paglilingkod. . hindi ito sa dami ng ating ginagawa, , kundi sa dami ng ating nararanasang kagalakan ng paglilingkod sa Kanya.. . Discipleship is about relationship, not about the tasks. It’s about devotion, not duties.
ANG PAGLILINGKOD AY BUNGA NG UMAAPAW NA PAGSAMBA(overflow)
Si Maria ay nakapokus sa pagmiministeryo sa kanya ni Hesus. "The focus was on Jesus." Samantalang si Marta ay nakapokus sa ginagawang paglilingkod kay Hesus. "The focus was on her. Iyon ang malaking pagkakaiba.
Dapat ang paglilingkod natin ay bunga ng naguumapaw na pagmamahal natin sa Panginoong Hesus. Ang tawag dito ay “overflow.” Our work flows from our worship. Anuman ang ating ginagawa sa ministry man o sa misyon, ito ay dapat na ginagawa natin dahil sa naguumapaw na bunga ng pagsamba.. Dahil kapag ang ating puso ay umaapaw sa pagibig at pagsamba sa Panginoong Hesus, wala kang pakananasain kundi ang mapaglingkuran Siya ng buong puso, ng may kagalakan at sakripisyo. Muli ang Pagpapala ng Diyos ay sumainyong lahat sa Pangalan ng ating Panginoong Hesus Amen.

OUR PRESENCE TO THE LORD IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN OUR SERVICE
(Luke 10:38-42)
Jesus and his disciples continued their journey, and entered a village. They were welcomed into the home of Marta and her sister Maria. He sat at the Lord's feet to listen to what he was teaching. Martha, on the other hand, was busy preparing, so she came to Jesus and cried, "Lord, do you care that my sister leaves me to prepare alone? Tell him to help me." But the Lord said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and preoccupied with many things, but only one thing is really necessary. Mary's choice is better and it will not be taken away from her."
"Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her" (10:42). Jesus is his "good portion". Jesus came to bring us closer to God through him. He will not let us be far from him. The presence of the Lord Jesus is more important than our service. . it's not in the amount of what we do, but in the amount of joy we experience in serving Him.. . Discipleship is about relationship, not about the tasks. It's about devotion, not duties.
SERVICE IS THE RESULT OF OVERFLOWING WORSHIP (overflow)
Mary is focused on Jesus ministering to her. "The focus was on Jesus." While Marta is focused on serving Jesus. "The focus was on her. That was the big difference.
Our service should be the result of our overflowing love for the Lord Jesus. This is called “overflow.” Our work flows from our worship. Whatever we do in the ministry or in the mission, we must do it because of the overflowing fruit of worship.. Because when our heart overflows with love and worship for the Lord Jesus, you have no desire but to serve Him fully heart, with joy and sacrifice again God's Blessing be with you all in the Name of our Lord Jesus Amen.
