Good day mga ka-PHC.
I have noticed po that my 5g mobile data becomes really unstable everytime I activate any .ovpn config in the OpenVPN app. Cebu City area po ako.
It is logical po na tumataas ang ping pag naka vpn but even after deactivating the vpn and exiting the app the connection is still very unstable. My ping in speedtestdotph goes above 400 ms from 90-120 ms before using OpenVPN. Download speeds also does not go beyond 0.5 mbps while using and after using the app. I am on UnliData 299 promo. The problem goes away po after turning off my data for at least 15 minutes but my internet is severely throttled without using vpn.
Based po dito sa experience ko, Smart is intentionally messing up my 5g connection once I use OpenVPN. I noticed this only today.
Is anyone experiencing this same issue po? If not then maybe this problem is sim-based.
