I'm also incoming 3rd year students in BSIT. I think relevant din naman ito.
Mga suggestion ng previous prof namin.
Key notes:

• Be specific sa thesis topic and titles.
• Problems and Objectives dapat tugma. (Problems serve as a question and objectives serve as a solution for the thesis)
• Dapat alam ko structure at functions ng system/program nyo.
• Gamit ka ng comfortable programming language mo para maging madali ang pag construct ng system.
• Simulan mo mag self study or advance reading during summer break.
• Hanap ka ng mga common questions during defense na related sa thesis system nyo.

Nag-mock defense kami netong previous school year. Ito yung mga natatandaan ko na tips for thesis capstone. Search ka rin ng tagalog "thesis capstone preparation" sa youtube may mga advices na makakatulong sayo.
