I just realized, namisspell pla yung "using" into "suing".

Broadly-speaking, maraming classifications ang drugs, like analgesics, laxatives, mucolytic, etc. Pero kung wala ka naman sa medicine field, ang kailangan mo lang malaman ay yung dalawang major classifications ng drugs: prescription at over-the-counter/non-prescription drugs.

As the name suggests, yung mga prescription drugs, ito yung mga gamot na hindi mo basta-basta mabibili sa botika nang walang prescription ng doctor. Conversely, ang OTC/non-prescription drugs ay yung mga gamot na mabibili mo sa botika kahit walang prescription ng doktor. Nevertheless, prescription or non-prescription man, parehong may side-effects ang mga gamot.
