a. STRAIGHT Ld
formula:

• ldb=basic Ld
• m=modification factor (1.3, 1)

formula para isolb naten yung ldb (yung basic hindi pa yung totoong Ld)

• para sa bakal na 32mm Ø pababa
• na dapat hindi bababa sa minimum sa kanan ng table

Given:
Ø=16mm
fy=414MPa (yield strength ng bakal)
f'c=20.7MPa (compressive strength ng konkreto)
Ab=area ng bakal =3.14(16^2)/4=201.06

1. Solve for basic dev length muna
Tension
sub values:
ldb = [0.02 (201.06)(414)]√(20.7)
=365.91 vs 0.06dbfy na 397.44 (panalo si 397.44)

Compression
sub values:
ldb = [0.24 (16)(414)]/√(20.7)
=349.42 vs 0.04dbfy na 264.96

note: meron ding minimum na 300mm both Tension at Compression

2. SOLVE for Ld
formula:

Ld=397.44 x 1.3 (Tension)
=516.67mm say 520mm

Ld=349.42 x 1(Compression)
=349.42mm say 350mm

compare naten sa excel calcu, yown solb


b. with HOOK
pag masipag compute nyo naman yung with hook

formula: with hook para sa basic Ld
lhb = (100 db)/√(f'c)

pag nasolb lhb isub ulit ang m sa

modification factors:
m=0.70
m=0.70 x fy/414 (kung fy ay hindi 414MPa)

CONCRETE HOLLOW BLOCK MORTAR​

• ito yung butas sa hollow blocks
• kaya tinawag na hollow or yung cavity
• need mo lagyan ng mortar (cement+sand+water)

sa 4" x 8" x 16"

volume= 0.075 x 0.050 x 0.20 x 4 na butas
=0.003cu.m sa isang piraso

multiply naten sa 12.5pcs (para 1 sqm)

=0.0375cu.m + naten yung semento sa bawat layer na 0.006cu.m
=0.0435cu.m sa isang sqmeter

or pag ninja mubs hanapin nyo nalan ung calcu

• input thickness at input 4 web para solb yung volume sa isang skweyr meter

MIX RATIO ng MORTAR​

Pag timplahan na kahit Class B ng mixture 1:3 (12bags Cement at 1cu.m Buhangin)

Cement
=0.0435cu.m x 12 bags
=0.52 bags

Sand
=0.0435cu.m x 1
=0.0435cu.m

pag ayaw sa class B then sa Class C 1:4 (9bags 1.0 cu.m)
