PHSince I came back to Ph after the pandemic (been away for 18 months), I have been unable to get any data with my Globe number. I went to one of their outlets. They changed the SIM card (same phone number): no joy. They tried the SIM in several different phones: no joy. Call and text work fine. My phone works fine with any other SIM as long as it's a different number. "Free Facebook" works fine. I have the 4g/LTE symbol (tried 3g too). But nothing comes through other than free Facebook - just like if I had no credit or active promo even though I do. Switched off SurfAlert just in case: no joy.
The Globe rep created a case, contacted his back office... that lasted for weeks... to no avail. Now I have to walk around with a pocket wifi with a different SIM card in it. I don't want to change my number because I have had it for years and it is linked to everything...
