I'm using Xperia Z1 Android 5 1
The lastest version only supports 4.3+ if you are under 4.3 just google and find the older apk versions which is compatible with android 4.0
It is also working in Windows and other platforms.

Part 1 Installing Addon Installer to get the most out of Kodi

1. Open Kodi
2 Go to settings, under settings click file manager
3 Click "add source", click None field.
Enter

4 Add any name in the second field.
5 Click ok.
6 Go back to the home and click settings> Addons> Install from Zip file. You will see the source that you have created a while ago and click it.
7 Open Start here and click plugin addoninstaller.
8 Wait for it to finish you will be notified.
