Ukraine's president says 137 people died in first day of conflict and 316 wounded Ukrainians. and that his country has been left 'alone' to fight against Russia

Zelensky is doing his best in this announcement to put on a brave face. He says he has asked 27 NATO countries to come to Ukraine's aid but they are all afraid. But he says, "We are not afraid. We are not afraid of anything."
