The Walking Dead: World Beyond is an American post-apocalyptic horror drama series directed by Scott M. Gimple and Matthew Negrete and released on AMC on October 4, 2020. "The Walking Dead Beyond the World" is a spin-off series from The Walking Dead, based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard, and is the third television series in The Walking Dead. The events of the series begin about a decade after the end of the zombie apocalypse, when a new generation of humans, who are in fact the teenage characters of the series, decided to leave their safe havens and embark on a dangerous adventure in a world full of zombies.
