They are all candidate for the title of pìrâ†é King that Whitebeard died kneeling before it.
There’s Charlotte Linlin also known as Big Mom, a greedy woman who takes what she wants by force by the fact that Sanji was forced to attend her Tea Party even if Sanji didn’t want to. She is a HUGE woman who devours people with stomach acid dripping from her mouth. She is somehow strengthening her side by collaborating with famous family in the Underground society---The Vinsmoke Family that was said to be a family of assassins where the cook of the Strawhats crew Sanji was born.
Then there’s Hundred Beast Kaido, famously known as the Strongest Creature and said to be an overwhelmingly strong guy. The one who annihilated former Shichibukai Morriah’s entire crew and finally defeated him. He’s feared by a well-known Shichibukai, the Heavenly Demon Doflamingo. Kaido is currently forming an army of Zoan users through a partnership with Doflamingo for artificial DF’s---Doflamingo in his alias Joker is the main supplier and source of equipments and mass destruction weapons in the Underground World. Law stated that even if he formed an alliance with Luffy, they’re chance of winning against Kaido is 30% only. Kaido is somehow cannot be killed that resulted to him making suicide as a hobby. Another testament to his strength is his right hand man, Jack whom the 2 rulers of the Mink Tribe didn't suppressed in 5 days of fighting. Jack continuously fought Duke Inuarashi by day and Master Nekomamushi by night, though the latter also didn't suppressed the 2 rulers, he fought them without taking a break while both of the rulers took their 12 hours of break and save their stamina.
Also there’s Marshall D. Teach commonly referred as Blackbeard, the man behind the death of the World’s Strongest Man, Whitebeard. He’s current agenda is hunting for Devil’s Fruit users. He made a record in history by possessing 2 DF powers after killing Whitebeard and finally made it to the Yonkou spot in just 2 years. He possessed the most unique Devil’s Fruit even for logia type, the Yami Yami no Mi, it grants the ability to transfer DF powers to another living bodies by killing the user with an unknown method and the reason behind him having Whitebeard’s power that is considered to be the strongest Devil’s Fruit within the Paramecia class, the Gura Gura no Mi having powers no weaker than those of a Logia.
And last but not the least, the most popular and hyped character in the series no other than Red-Haired Shanks. The driving force behind ending the War of the Best and he’s the great pìrâ†é Luffy respects the most. In a SBS with Oda, one fan ask if Luffy's haoshoku haki was able to affect 50,000 men, how many would Shanks and the others be able to defeat? Oda answered: "In exactly the same place and exact same situation as Luffy, Shanks or Rayleigh may have been capable of knocking out all 100,000. In a different setting, you can't really compare just by asking "how many people", on a related note, as one's proficiency with HAOSHOKU ADVANCES, it's even possible to target a few people in a crowd to NOT knock out". The same man who boarded the WSM’s ship and made a bit of threat to Whitebeard Pirates by releasing his Haoshoku Haki that knocked down some people there and clashed with Whitebeard with one hand that resulted to the sky split in half. He also made a dispute with Kaido when he blocked its way from going to take Whitebeard’s head and he appeared in Marineford unnoticed in just one day being unharmed from his skirmish with the fellow emperor. And lastly, stopped the Summit War by challenging all individuals there including the top tier fighters from marines and pirates with just a fashion statement that drove Sengoku to cease the war.
