Why do good employees resign?
1. Salary is not competitive (so true specially for home grown talents).
2. Because of the Boss/ Management/ Leadership Team. How was his/her relationship with the boss? Did he/she agree with the direction where the company is going?
3. Lack of Challenges: It only takes months or a year at most to master skills and nobody wants to spend five years of their lives doing the same thing over and over. Remember these professionals are achievers and hungry for new learning and challenges.
4. Lack of recognition. To feel appreciated and valued or that occasional pat on the back for a job well done.
5. It’s time to move on: To explore a better career opportunity, a new industry, the chance to manage a team/people. The change the person has been waiting for...
Or simply the person is not happy anymore.
