PHPRESIDENTIAL aspirant and former senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos has tested negative for drugs.
Marcos himself revealed this to The Manila Times on Tuesday after he was tested in a hospital in Metro Manila on Monday.
Marcos said he gave a copy of the results to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
He said he underwent the drug test after President Rodrigo Duterte announced that a presidential candidate was using cocaine.
"Pagkatapos ng salita ni Pangulo. Eh di lahat tayo magpa-drug test. Eh di inunahan ko na (After the President spoke, I decided to be the first so all of us should undergo a drug test)," he said.
