❓ Help FAKE External Drive

base on my experience

I just bought Seagate External HDD 2Tera Online to be specific (FB MARKETPLACE)
for my Extra Storage and to keep My Files (Photos/Video/Apps/Games Etc.)
Backup.

Without doubt or knowing that External HDD can be imitate nor copy

Storage Size is fine
Same 2TERA in Properties/Disk Management

BUT the big question is
AFTER you plug in the said unit

Other name Like Chines Company
ung Written Name nya.

eh samantalang sa pinadala sakin before form abroad na external HDD same brand is seagate talaga yung INFO nya as in NAME nya sa System
Device Manager/Disk Management or sa File Explorer

And heres the thing nagGoogle ako about my concern
then search result
Check serial
Scan QrCode if available
or install Apps ng external HDD mu sa site nila
para malaman if fake


lastly found the result


fake nga

Even if same capacity sa storage
check nyo talaga mismo sa system dapat kung anung brand sya once reformat nyo
yun ang lalabas sa system info nya

at isa pa the transfer rate is sobrang bagal compare sa original


well share ko lang hope makaiwas or wala na magaya sakin


Lesson learn
PAG MURA and to good to be true ang Price compare sa original
Do a research muna
Hindi na sapat yung tiwala lang kagad

fyi: nagagamit ko naman sya kaso matagal lng tlga transfer rate and hindi ko sure kung sa 2tera na storage is mafull access sya
