Hi PHC. I'm a graduate of engineering (not EE, ECE nor CpE) and have zero knowledge in IT. I've tried studying Python a few years ago and R in my spare time last year.

Just this week, I applied for the entry-level associate software engineer position in Accenture, and now I'm scheduled for virtual assessment next week.

Any advice or tips from people here who applied for the same position? What topics can be expected in the assessment?

Hindi naman kung not available pa. Pwede certificate of candidacy for graduation or certificate of graduation muna ipasa mo. Then magaatach ka lang ng letter kung bakit not available pa. Marami kaming nahire wala pang diploma tska TOR ang tagal kasi iprocess ng school namin

Hello. Have you attempted to apply? A helpful tip for the virtual assessment is to have a pen and paper ready to write down the "persons/objects" and their corresponding "functions/operations." You will undoubtedly pass if you are also proficient in logic gates and/or puzzle solving.

From what i have experienced, tge interviewr just ask me scenarios kung paano ko magagawan ng paraan pag nag ka prob. Basic lang naman mga tinanong, for my case tinanaong what gingawa ko sa current job ko, may work pa kasi ako up to now, but i filled my resignation na. I think ok naman ang accenture, kung di ka matatangap ay hahanapan ka naman niyan na qualified sa skill mo. Actually di ko pa nga alam ang gagawin ko sa work haha, good ghing pati WFH pa dn ang set up sakanila the may libre laptop. Balitaan mo ako pag natangap ka baka magkita tayo sa manila haha. Weird pati 1am niya ako inerterview

How's it going at work? Does ACN require you to physically report to the office now that the pandemic is waning?

IT graduate here. Nag-apply din ako sa acn dati way back 2012-2014 for associate software engineer pero rejected agad. What weirded me out is mostly kinukuha nila ay engineering graduates na wala gaano background sa programming but most CS and IT grads are rejected. Noon yun ewan ko lang ngayon. Dapat pala engineering na lang din kinuha ko.

I almost missed out on taking their exam because I was screened out by the first recruiter. My engineering degree was not on their list, so I was turned down.

I messaged another recruiter on Facebook, and she arranged for me to take the exam.

This is the list sent to me by the first recruiter.

I respectfully disagree with you because, as you can see, most of the programs on their list are in IT and CS. Or perhaps their preferred degrees have changed. That being said, maybe you can try your luck again at ACN.

Anong klaseng bagsak po. Like naging irregular ba or may grades na pinagbabasehan.

I'm not sure where sixty9 obtained this information about failing grades. To add to cybercurochan11 's anecdotal evidence, I had failing grades in college as well, but I was never asked about it. I don't think it's a factor. It would have been listed in the job qualifications to expedite the screening process if it really is a factor.

As of now, work from home pa din kami, wala pang linaw kung kelan kami mag RTO. Nakaka stress ang trabaho haha, kung gusto mo talaga ng challenge sa Accenture ka pumunta.

Business reporting and governance yung BRG. Ang ginagawa ko lang naman e ako nag dedecide kung papasa ba yung mga call center agents haha, actually masaya siya kaso sobrang dami lang talaga. Pero bagay sakin kasi judgemental akong tao e haha

Ano po ba usually yung online assessment sa ACN? Ang sabi ng iba coding challenge daw pero anong language po usually? And gaano po katagal yung process sainyo before kayo mabigyan ng start date?

Kung may Job offer ka na ok na yun. Wala naman sa kontrata na ibabagsak ka pag ka mababa ang grade mo. Sa probation period naman mag decide kung papasa ka. Kaka regular ko pa nga lang din last April 15. 6 months probation ko ewan ko lang diyan

Uy haha RTO na din po ako kaso once a week lang po. Pinapili kami kung saan namin gusto yung pinakamalapit ang pinili ko is sa cubao. Gateway po ako ikaw po ba?

Merong part dyan na may imamatch ka na mga image pero hanggang ngayon di ko pa din kung paano sagutan yun
Importante lang ata e makadami ka ng try kasi may time limit bawat question. Meron din sa grammar tska attitude
