PHDo you want to know if you can stack up on unli data with Smart's Rocket SIM?
The answer is YES! You can stack up on unli data up to 2x, totalling Php 998 for TWO MORE MONTHS on top of the included unli data, BEFORE the promo ends on Sept. 30.

So I tried to register for another month of Unli Data 499 on my Rocket SIM. And what happened was this
As you can see, it DIDN'T stack up in my case.
My SIM was only recently activated last Aug. 28. The Unli Data 499 that came with it DID NOT reflect on the Active Promo section of the SIM on the Gigalife app.What I think happened was since this is a freshly activated SIM that came preloaded with Unli Data 499, it WILL NOT reflect on any active promo, which is different from registering Unli Data 499 from the app menu. Any unli data promo availed WILL NOT stack up on the preloaded one.
Once you availed of the promo from the app menu and then it appears on the Active Promo list, then you CAN STACK UP on the unli data 499 promo up to 2x. You need to WAIT UNTIL THE PRELOADED PROMO expires before you can stack up on unli data.
I reached for support from Smart and the agent made this clear, and will NOT unregister the duplicate unli data 499 subscription even if this doesn't make sense. Kaya wala silang gagawin tungkol sa ganitong problema kaya olats ako. Now I feel the reason for getting back at them for cases like this.
Knowing this pitfall came at a cost.
